CAR President featured in Mercury News
Monday, November 12th, 2007CAR President Colleen Badagliacco was interviewed in today’s San Jose Mercury News Business Section…
On Buying now: “I’m a real fan of representing buyers in November, December and January. Even when we’ve had strong markets, that’s a great time to be a buyer, because who’s on the market? Only people who need to sell. These are motivated people; they are not testing the water. At the least, they’re going to be happy to look at your offer.”
On How this downturn is different: “In the early ’90s, it was driven by basic economic fundamentals – lack of demand, job loss and more people moving out than coming in. The difference from the other downturns is the other times you could point to an economic bogyman. This time the interest rates are good and job losses are not a factor at all.”
